Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear, customer-friendly timelines for cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds from The Cosmic Studio.

1) Customer Cancellations

  • Standard items: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase before dispatch.
  • Customized / personalized / digital services: Once confirmed, these are non-cancellable.

To cancel, email support@thecosmicstudio.in with your Order ID and registered mobile number/email.

Note: If the order has already been handed over to the courier, please see the Returns section below.

2) Cancellation by The Cosmic Studio

We may cancel an order due to product unavailability, pricing/listing errors, payment verification issues, or suspected fraud. If any amount has been charged, a full refund will be initiated to your original payment method.

3) Returns (if applicable)

  • Eligible when the item is damaged in transit, has a manufacturing defect, or you received a wrong item.
  • Return window: Request within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags, accessories, manuals and the original invoice.
  • Not eligible: customized/personalized goods, perishable goods, downloadable/digital items, items marked “final sale”, and normal wear & tear.

How to request: Email support@thecosmicstudio.in with your Order ID, issue description and photos/videos (if damaged/defective).

4) Return Process

  1. Request review: Our team verifies your request and may ask for additional photos/videos.
  2. Pickup/Drop: If approved, we will arrange a pickup or share the nearest courier/drop details.
  3. Inspection: Returned item is inspected at our facility.
  4. Resolution: On approval, we process a replacement or refund as per your choice/availability.
If the item sent back is used, damaged by customer, or missing parts, we may decline the return and send it back to you.

5) Refunds

  • Timeline: Once approved, refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days. Credit to your account depends on your bank/issuer after we process it.
  • Method: Refunds are made to the original payment method used for the order.
  • Non-refundable costs: Shipping fees, COD charges and convenience fees are non-refundable unless the error is on our side.

6) Exchanges

Subject to stock availability, we can exchange for the same item/variant. If the requested variant is not available, we will process a refund as per the above policy.

7) Late or Missing Refunds

  1. Check your bank/card account again.
  2. Contact your card issuer/bank; it may take time before a refund is posted.
  3. If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, contact us at support@thecosmicstudio.in.
